Best value for money out there.

These guards might not have the best thigh strap but that might be cause of my chicken legs… I’ve just resorted to wrapping it around my thighs twice before velcroing, stretches the straps but it makes it fit me. Otherwise the protection is incredible, I’ve had many pedal strikes and still haven’t felt nothing, also great when you have to knee slide and bail out. Highly recommend, all my mates with knee only guards have been jealous as.

3.0 EXT vs Hybrid EXT

Know the difference between the 3.0 and Hybrid EXT models before ordering. At the time I made my order, the website uses the same product image of the Hybrid EXT. I mistakenly got the 3.0 EXT thinking I was going to get what was shown in the image; alas I did not and customer care/ info@leatt has been a pain to get ahold of.

Nope

I was excited to get these, as soon as I put them on I was instantly less excited. The hinging at the knee is ultra stiff - I assume this loosens up with age but those straps sadly aren’t good enough. They really needed to go through a loop and pull back across the leg to stay in place. Instead the top strap slides up over the top and bulges the knee away from your leg. Not great. That’s just trying them on in a room, I didn’t bother going riding with them.
