I am big, and this is the only model I found to my measurements and expectations in terms of protection. Not easy to put in place at the beginning, you really have the impression that you are not going to support them... and you no longer realize that they are there after a few turns of the wheel. Nothing to say about the branches or the falls: tested from the first outing it feels good not to hurt yourself!

After trying several Leatt knee pads, I settled on this model for several reasons. The first, and most important, is comfort: easy to put on, they don't get in the way during descents and don't slip. Then, the protection: effective 3DF and side reinforcements tested during a fall. The zip is anecdotal but practical when you want to take off or put on the knee pads without taking off your shoes. In short, I recommend!

Positive: I liked the flexibility and how the material reacts when you hit it. Negative: I thought it would be a little easier to put on, after a while you can get it on without having to take off your shoes. Maybe it would have been great if they had added an elastic with velcro at the bottom.

I chose a fairly tight fit and I'm happy with it.

Not bad but could do better... First of all, stop sewing 20 cm of extra label on each protector which, if you don't cut them, start flying out of the protectors after a while. I have the impression that no one really tries the finished product??? The zipper seems fragile and if you have big thighs, even with XL, you have to zip them under the knee then pull up the protectors and assemble the velcro. No discomfort when pedaling (after cutting the labels)

These pads feel good do not bind when sitting and gives me better protection....better than the standard pads that come with most riding pants
